"AL-MIR Trust library, research and publuication centre was founded in 1996 with some key objectives. Apart from commemorating the forefathers, Arif Ali Mir adv., the pioneer of the library is an ardent supporter of the modern research culture and takes keen interest in the production of new knowledge and revival of general public interest in the world of learning. The key manifesto of the organization is the promotion of knowledge and learning for the public in general, and to the research scholars in particular. Up to this date, the library has published more than 75 books by light houses of knowledge like Prof. Shareef Kunjahi, Prof Hamid Hassan Syed, Prof Dr. Muzzaffar Hassan Malik, Prof. Dr. Pir Naseer, Prof. Masood Hasmi, and Arif Ali Mir as well as strivers in the field of writing. the subjects of these publications range from a number of subjects like Religion, Literature, History, Politics, Autobiograpies, Anthropology, Journalism and a variety of other subjects. The diversity of the conducted research can be judged from the fact that a member of the library, Mir Nadeem Ullah is working on a peculiar subject like the traditional sport of pigeon flying in the sub continent.

Another salient feature of the library is that the publications by the library are donated to various libraries of the country and abroad without any charges. The members of the library specifically encourage the students to come forward and indulge in intellectual exercise. The members of the library include people from different walks of life like Teachers, Lawyers, Scientists, Journalists, Doctors, Social workers, Historians and distinguished Religious scholars from different religion and sects. The library holds an informal liason with the newly founded 'University of Gujrat' in the sense that the students of the said university frequently use the books. The honourable Vice Chancellor of the university, Dr. Nizam encourages the students to utilize the material available in the library on regular basis. 

A weekly meeting, "ITWARI IKATH" is held on regular basis, where the members of the library indulge in various discouses for the benefit of the attending students and for the over all interest enlightenment of the members. Other features constitute 'Mushairaas', 'Musical Nights', 'Book opening ceremonies', 'Literary References' and most importantly 'Multi dimensional Lectures' by learned men of letters. The library is open to all interested participants without the slightest hint of any kind of prejudice. For this purpose, any kind of discussion that breeds dispute or meaningless rows, is strictly prohibited. The annual "Bursi" of Ghazanfar Hussain Mir adv. (late) is a major event, where the forth coming events of the library are planned, and the opening ceremony of all the books for the year is conducted.
